McCulloch has been a pioneer in power tools and garden equipment for over 70 years. Founded in 1943 by Robert McCulloch, the company began as McCulloch Motors Corporation in Wisconsin before relocating to California. In 1949, McCulloch revolutionised the industry with the launch of the 3-25, a lightweight, one-man chainsaw that changed North American woodworking forever.
Throughout the 1970s and 80s, McCulloch expanded its range to include hedge trimmers, string trimmers, and leaf blowers, solidifying its reputation in garden equipment. In 1988, the company moved to Tucson, Arizona, where it continued innovating, introducing electric string trimmers in 1998. Today, McCulloch remains dedicated to delivering powerful, reliable tools for homeowners and professionals alike.
